Finding your local council

GOV.UK's Find your local council form will help you find them. You should be able to register for council tax online.

Finding energy suppliers

• Water and sewerage is easy: there'll be one local supplier at your postcode.
• Electricity network operator
  • With this, you should be able to find the energy supplier and MPAN.
  • If you're in London, there's a good chance your electricity network operator is UK Power Networks, who have a handy lookup tool.
• Gas supplier and transporter, along with MPRN.
